Default RE: Tiger 60 Engine

Tower Hobbies and GMS are made in the same factory in China, the TH .75 is ABC and the GMS .76 is ringed. I have both and the TH pulls just a little bit better than the GMS but not by much( about 500rpm more with a 13x6 MAS prop.) As far as reliable, I have never so much as had a single dead stick with either in over 2 years flying these motors. There are lots of comments in the engine section, some good, some bad. All I can do is give you my opinion and I think for the dollar you can't go wrong. I also have quite a few OS, Supertigre, Evolution, Rossi, Irvine, Thunder Tiger, Webra and Magnum 2 strokes and I can't see where one is that much better than the other. It's the old Ford vs Chev vs Dodge thing. I will keep using and buying TH and GMS because for the money they are good in my eyes and pocketbook.
