Hey, smokey, your in luck, I've been flying a Lanier Extra 330, 20.5 lbs. one of the cheap ones Tower sold last winter, mounted an old A&M Sachs 4.2 on it. I wasn't sure if the engine would have enough for the plane, but she needed a home, I have not been disappointed.
I did the initial flights and maiden on the 24X10, then switched to the 22X12, I was really impressed with the 12, but broke it on a not so hot landing. I decided to run the 8X14 and have 4 flights on it and have been quite happy with it. It will take the Extra straight out of sight from about a 100 ft. roll out on take-off. I'm not to hot doing 3D, so I'm not sure about that, my impression is it's probably maginal doing 3D. Doesn't act as though it's as strong as my Brison 3.2 mounted on a PAU Edge.
Zinger 24X106100 rpm.
Zinger 22X126300 rpm
Zinger 22X8-146200 rpm
Man those #'s are terrible for a 4.2 [X(] I don't know about the others but I have a Zinger 22 - 8/14 and tried it on my Taurus 3.2 = 6500 rpm's.
