If you went upside down then it was in idle up. You cannot get negative pitch unless you are in idle up. The idle up switch we be towards you to be on and toward the back of the radio to be off. If you are in idle up anything past half way is putting negative pitch in the blades and will cause it to flip around on the ground do to the severe force applied to the ground.
