A 1050 mah battery will only take 2 hours to charge at a .5A charge rate, not a few hours. For that battery 1C would be slightly over 1A and will charge it in 1 hour, instead of 2.

And yes, 1 hour is less than 2 hours, which is why I said the battery will charge faster at 1amp. You didn't have to clarify that for me, thanks. And I don't know of any chargers that will let you charge at 1.05 amps, which is why I said 1amp.
