I agree that it is what ever your most comfortable with. I have idle ups on the left and throttle hold on the right. This is how my radio came setup, and is also the way that they fly at the heli field I fly at. I thought this would be a good thing if one of them flew my heli then they wouldn't have to search for the right switch.
