Fact: ET has pissed off many a moderator.
Fact: ET is very opinionated about a few things.
Fact: ET has been banned from at least 2 forums that I personally know of.
Fact: ET has even pissed off at least 2 guys that he sold jets to, but he was always VERY upfront and communicative.
Fact: Call ET on the phone, talk to him yourself and you'll see, he's a very reasonable and funny guy.
Fact: ET is a smart chap who always had it within
his power to decide how much of a positive or negative influence he wanted to be here on RCU, and he made his choices and eventually paid the price for those choices.
When he became too much of a negative for too long the mod's simply said enough is enough because they couldn't see what the positives were that made it worth putting up with all the extra work he caused. Ben and I defended him many, many times and went out of our way to prevent him being banned on numerous occasions, but even I eventually gave up.
Anyway, what I wanna know is : if the article truly was by ET, how come it recommended buying a reputable turbine that would start first time, rather than telling everyone how great JetJoe is ?
