Default RE: Weight bags

ORIGINAL: Broken Wings

Yes the conform very well. They will fold in half. You can also depress the center as with any "Bean Bag" and lay it on a wing rib cap strip. Same with sheeting...

Apparently Lineco also manufactures rigid weights.

That's why I posted it. For the "majority" of kit builders they will work great and last forever. I bought a dozen of them.

I've learned my lesson, If I come up with anything else that makes my life easier I'll remember to keep it to myself...
Hey...don't get put off by those of us who chime back on your post. What you describe is a good thing for some and we do thank you for your in-put.
You see that is what this site is for.people helping people with new ideas. Your post on these pre-made weight bags is not a bad post in any way. It is just a lot of the times the people who post back are just trying to help others (as you have done) with a cheaper way of doing things.

Please don't take offence to others here..... keep posting your ideas.... more ideas are better than less. I have been building for many many years. I still find ideas from this site that I never would have thought of. I read the "Beginners" site all the time as well as many other forums. Just because I am a long time builder does not mean I know everything that is for sure. I have posted ideas before only to have someone come back with a different idea on how to do things.
I for one welcome your posts...... keep them coming........ you are helping people even though you may not think so.
Thanks buddy.
