we just did a RB C6..the motor definitely did not carry much pinch or hold that great of compression....... I do use a stand, but I have done plenty of other C6 engine with no issues..so I am thinking there is some QC issues happening with fitment of the RB pistons....
Thats good to know, at least now I know I'm not going crazy and forgot how to brek in an enine. I do like my stand but, I was breaking it in installed on the car to see if it was going to do the same thing. Thanks supertib, vlad, and nascardad for the input. I'm not crazy after all!!!! Well i no if i am wrong i will be told I was thinking that rb engines ran a tappered sleeve not a pinched one i have noticed on my rb that when it's cold it has low compression but when it's up to temp 250 270 it has good compression mine has about 3 gallons on it.
