Hmm, if the gears on the VXL is different from the older versions of the Stampede, then how about those shafts? I got the older version of the Pede (not XL-5 or VXL) and those shafts are always breaking. Is there a mod I can do? Is the VXL shafts better than the older version of the Pede shafts or are they the same? Will they work on the older version?
I have an older pede (XL1 model) with brushless and I broke the stock axles after less than a minute on 12 cells. I replaced the axles with VXL axles, which were a direct fit.
