Hello,

I ran straight Coleman propane for about 1 year before JetCat switched to the propane/butane mix. The issue with straight propane is that in hot weather, the onboard pressure can exceed the limits on the tubing we use and cause a rupture.

You don't have to use Powermax, their are several brands (MSR, etc) that have propane butane mixes, any of those will work.
