I'm going to build a Lanier 1/4 scale clipped Taylorcraft and was going to use the Brillelli 36GT, but I'm not sure I can get the engine quick enough. I've always wanted to convert my own but have a little to learn about doing so.

What would be a good motor to convert for this project? The clipped version spans 83" and should come in at 14-16#. I'm looking for a bit above scale power, not hover power, but enough to push the aerobatic capability and enough to get out of trouble.
