Default RE: Engine for 1/4 scale T-Craft?

The flwwheel sensor, hub,EI,most all of the parts wouldnt be that bad.The worst part is going to be the block.Ill go look at the echo site and then call my dealer and ask what the short block would be.I looked at e_bay last night and there was one on there but the person ran it without oil and its siezed up.At last look he was still getting over $30.00 plus around 20 i believe for shipping.Theres still a lot of good parts on saws even when there siezed up.Im going to go look at one of my saw stores and see if they have any short blocks.I know for a fact that a couple years ago i bought a short block for my 24cc echo,it was $125,the same price as a repower kit.[wich only includes cylinder, piston, ring[s],and maybe the upper rod bearing].I dont know if i can say this here but check the classifieds here on rcu,in the gas engines theres a brillelli 36 for sale.Did ya see the thread started on the ryobi 40cc.Its got a zenoah cylinder.$119.00 for a brand new engine aint bad.evrythings already there to convert except for prop hub.A hub would only run about 20-25 dollars. If ya needed a little extra wieght just leave the mag on.Ill call my dealer and see,but he wont cut me no slack.
