Default 4*60 canopy questions

i’m trying to figure out a way to install the canopy on 4*60.

My problem with the desired setting is where the covering meets the canopy (last picture).

I want to match the rear of the canopy to the back plate not to go over it, and if possible the front of the canopy not to get further of the cockpit.

I see at least three options here, none of them I really like…

1. cover the cockpit area and screw the canopy and glue stripe the gap.
- the gap is asking for problems.

2. trim and glue the canopy permanently.
- this makes covering hard and cant see how to smooth it.

3. balsa canopy unit screwed to the fuse
- this makes the canopy very short and small because I cant let the canopy go over the top front fuse.

Thanks
Alex
