Finally got my incarnation of it done... I decided to change the design of the wing to more of an edge style. If anyone was up at the mid america electric show up in Michigan today, you would have caught it flying. It was crazy, I put it in a knife edge spin, and it was doing about 3 or 4 revolutions a second. I also put some carbon fiber braces in the tail, because I felt if flexed a bit too much. For a power supply, I'm running an Astro 020 brushless on an Astro 3.21:1 gear box. For cells, right now I'm running 9 cells x 600 mah. Weighted in at 21 oz. I have some lipo packs ready to go in, and due to the amp draws on this motor, I'll be putting 3, 3 cell packs in parallel. The cells are e-tech 1200. So I'll roughly have 3600 mah worth of cells running through it :-)
