Default RE: Prop options for a DA-50

ORIGINAL: ****sheee

Being new to gasers.............can somebody chime in and suggest who to purchase from a 22x8 prop for my DA-50. Carbon fiber not necessary

Thanks
What kind of aircraft are you planning to fly and how will you be flying it? If it's a P-51, then perhaps a 21x12 or 22x10 wood prop once broken in, and slightly less pitch initially. In high pitch speed stuff, the much maligned Zingers are actually supposed to be quite decent. And available anywhere.

If your need is for an 3D/IMAC aerobat, the Mezjlik 23x8 carbon prop (I know, they cost $$) is an excellent all around choice, excellent for IMAC precision as well as very good for 3D. It's my favorite. I gotta agree with Milton that the Vess 23A is a really good choice for 3D, as it is purpose built for that. Menz 22x8 or nearly identical NX/JXF props are also very good all around props.

Mejzlik - DA, Troybuiltmodels, Chief Aircraft, are some resellers.
Vess - East RC sells, plus some of those guys above.
