if i can get a Velcro strap at the back of the tank i will.but most of my tanks are held in place with the foam and i never have had them come loose.the canopy is not a good thing to hold a fuel tank in place with if it is plastic.they tend to vibrate loose and if you use screws with pressure constantly against them the screws will cause stress cracks.
