I have the same symptoms, only with the optic 6. I have also seen that many others have had this predicament, too! But if i apply a slight "wiggle" force to the module, it goes away. For now I just rely on that wiggled connection. This is my only radio and i love it. i hope that i am not relying on blind faith here. please inform me if my actions are irresponsible, but i have never had a flight failure.

Your issue is a case fitment issue to the module. This has been covered in several threads here. You need to send us the radio so we can put the new back case of it for you. This is a warranty issue so there won't be any charges.
