Here is my problem i have a eclipse transmitter (kinda old bought it as soon as it came out)with the spectra module set to channel 36 and after transmitter has been on for 2 or 3 minutes the servos start to twich. I also have a module that is fixed to channel 36 , i put it in the eclipse transmitter and i have no problems . I bought the spectra module several years ago, i noticed it did this within a month of buying it but i got out of the hobby until now due to new born child\work no time . Should i send this module in to get it checked out? and how much does hitec charge to fix these spectra modules ? if its too much i wouldnt want to waste my money since everyone is going to 2.4 ghz i am just waiting for hitec to release their product since all i have had is good luck and no problems with their products, this is the first issue i have had ,not so for my futaba stuff!

I would suggest you send in the radio and the module to have them checked out. It may be something we would cover under warranty but if there is to be any charge we would let you know ahead of time.

Mike,
I have the same symptoms, only with the optic 6. I have also seen that many others have had this predicament, too! But if i apply a slight "wiggle" force to the module, it goes away. For now I just rely on that wiggled connection. This is my only radio and i love it. i hope that i am not relying on blind faith here. please inform me if my actions are irresponsible, but i have never had a flight failure.
