Murphy's laws for RC
Let's put in this thread all the Murphy's laws that apply for RC hobbists! I'll start with:
-While you're flying, the trims will reduce its size twice at least, while the on/off switch gets bigger and bigger each time.
-When there's an funfly, children will move from point A to point B through your new scale model, the 900$ transmitter and your own feet. If the children manages somehow to avoid one of this items, the father of the child will step on them while running after his son shouting "be careful".
- A good landing is a when the model is still similar to how it was before taking off. An excellent one is when the model can take off again the same day.
- The probability of destroying a new model is proportional to the time, the money and the efforts invested.
-If a model flies and lands OK, it will get broken during transportation. If not, it will fall off the shelf/support where you store it.
-There's no need to put the model nose up to check the engine doesn't quit before flying. Its too obvious it will stall while you're hovering 1.5 high.
-"Hey watch this" is a statement that is followed without exception by a plane crash, damage to people or properties (usually your best friend's car).
-When there's an accident, the one that tells you "I knew it was going to happen" is usually the guy who flies a trainer full of patches and has to ask someone's help to land his plane.
