RE: DL-50 engine
Hi Bob,
Thanks for the explanation. I thought of tweaking the metering leaver again for the 22x8.
The Pitts has been a real problem and I did about a dozen adjustments to the engine thrust angles and a half dozen adjustments to the wing incidence, to get it to fly strait and level. It has been a real pain in the butt to tweak this plane.
It's still not 100%, but I'm tired of making adjustments to both the Pitts and the DL. Another 23x8 Xoar is on order. For now I just want to fly and enjoy it. This is a long weekend up here in the great white north and I'm going to put the DL and the Pitts through its paces. You never know, there may be a crash video on Tuesday.
By the way >> I'm measuring 195 degrees F on the front of the engine and 205 F on the back, after a ten minute flight, are these normal temperature for the DL50 ??
