Dear lord. Is this what you do when you can't articulate an opinion?

For those of you that are wondering, I've heard from Greg Minch on this issue. Greg is the AMA's IT Director. Greg has stated that the purpose of the tool is clubs and CDs to verify membership.

If Horrace has used it for any other purpose, he is misappropriating an AMA database for his private use. As he's said, he thinks nothing of doing such things.
