What alternative tubing can be used for 6mm ?
Not sure about what's easily available in the UK, but I use Freelin-Wade

One other question I have, is there a tubing type or brand that is better to use on the inside of the fuel tank?
For inside the tank. I like to use this ultra-flexible stuff – it's like a softer version of what you get for inside BV's tanks: ¼” flexible: 1J-133-10 clear 100ft
