Hi Guys
I have a question about Heng Long screws. I have been busy over the last month or so disassembling tanks and painting them so I can detail and weather them over the long cold winter months here, anyways on to my question.
When I take apart my tanks I usually use a #1 Phillips screwdriver but have noticed that on some tanks that I need a #2 because the #1 seems to be chewing up the heads on some of the screws? You would think that they would all be the same, Is it possible that the heads on some of the screws are slightly bigger or smaller from screw to screw?? I'm assuming that the metals they use are soft and somewhat lower quality to keep production costs down? Just weird things I have noticed after taking apart 10 tanks, lol. So was wondering what size screwdriver you guys use for the most part?
And another question while I got your guys ears, I know what size screws are used on the sprockets and what size for the Hulls but does anybody know the size thats use to hold the small plug receptacle on the tops of tanks turrets and that small little board thats attached to the turret ? There small thats all I know, lol but I guess not as small as the screw that holds the antenna wire on
Cheers guys
Jeremy
