here's the other reason thre called ready to run. because the kits, like the savage x kit, come in a million piece, therfore they are NOT ready to run and the ones already built ARE ready to run, that's the idea, but couple in the fact that they are probablly putting hundreds of them together a day and simple human error at the factory and your bound to have a few problems here and there. that's why it just good practice to get in the habit of doing the initial pre run inspection before the maden run and everytime there after.
