Yes Martinoto, dbacque apparently had the same problem that I had... I realize about the softness of the balsa wood not as early as I would like [:@]
Anyway, I managed to mask those sections...
These pics shows the cockpit paint effect... not as good as tint, but it gives a good look when exposed to sunlight:
