I do think the planes are similer the CE flys very well with the throws way above the manual recommendations its nice to have triple rates on my radio, I would be interested to see some pictures of yours, Keep in mind that this plane was made for a twin four stroke engine at first I was concerned that the fire wall would not hould up for the DL 50 but it has not come apart yet so I keep on flying it and love in it as well, I have two other Bipes a Tiger Moth Saito 125 and it hovers and a weeks special G62 this plane is a tank @ 20 Lb, But it flys very fast and stable with the 72 " wing spand, Ill up load the pictures of this raer plane soon, The Weeks Special was flown by Linda Myers and she is still with the us flying team, very impresive Lady,
