Working on my first float plane and am expecting a set of Ralph's Plane Fun floats today. I recall reading in a post previously some comments on sealing the wood prior to covering or painting. I think it was some sort of "poly" product such as polyurethane, but I'm not sure. If anyone could provide some feedback on method's they've used, I'd appreciate it!
