As I remember, the oil container had a built in measuring device where you squeezed the oil from the bottom up to this area on the top of the container. For a 32:1 mix, which is what I used, the top section holds exactly 4 ounces. Squeeze to fill and dump it into a gallon of gas and you have the proper mix.
