Did not want to make the news on RC Universe this way but am glad that most of the comments are ment in good spirit. I was very fortunate with my Extra in that the engine mount was cracked in half. If I had not killed it immediately it probably would have ended up the same as the trainer. (Unflyable due to a lack of an engine) So be it a lesson for all you gasers out there - kill the engine right away and accept the dead stick results as you will be pobably better off. The plane looks less damaged that it actually was.

And no - as Erick said we have generouse and classy guys in our club and he was given a older trianer that will fly for a long time by Robert who posted our pictures. Thanks Robert for your help. So with the help of friends both planes will be flying in a little over a day.

This is the second time in 30 years of flying that I have had a mid-air - So I will probably be safe for the rest of my life
