Default Consider this...
I have an old .40 FSR that I had the same issue with.

A quick trip to the local Hobby Town with backplate in hand revealed that the gaskets for the .46LA were in fact an exact match. The .46LA set contains a head shim and a single gasket so I had to buy 2 of them to get the pair needed for my FSR.
