I would not suggest flying it off a grass field. The retract wire is a bit small. I have a saito 91 in it and it seems to have plenty of power. I still needed to ad over a pound of weight in the nose so you could go with a different engine for balancing. It really looks nice especially for the price. The covering was great. I did go over it with an blower just to keep it from sagging in the heat. This was my first war bird and have flown it twice. I have to get used to the nose wanting to drop in a bank but I guess it is due to the type of plane it is. If you already have an engine and parts and are just looking for a plane to throw them in I don't think you can go wrong..
