Who out there has this plane and has flown it??
What are the opinions and what powerplant did you use?
Just looking for a quick warbird looking type plane to throw around while working on other projects.
Thanks in advance.

I read some good things about it , so I picked one up. The covering around the wing tips are smooth and cowling trim matches with the fuse. Read some guys weren't so lucky with that on theirs. Will start building mine sometime this weekend. A 91 surpass II will pull mine around.

I would not suggest flying it off a grass field. The retract wire is a bit small. I have a saito 91 in it and it seems to have plenty of power. I still needed to ad over a pound of weight in the nose so you could go with a different engine for balancing. It really looks nice especially for the price. The covering was great. I did go over it with an blower just to keep it from sagging in the heat. This was my first war bird and have flown it twice. I have to get used to the nose wanting to drop in a bank but I guess it is due to the type of plane it is. If you already have an engine and parts and are just looking for a plane to throw them in I don't think you can go wrong..

Mine's almost ready to go. I had to put 11 ounces of weight in the nose to balance her. The retracts are a bit finicky; after I put the strut decorations on, I had to Dremel the channel out so the wheels would go all the way up. Plus you'll need to spend some time detailing the canopy, but all in all it's a well made plane and I can't wait to see her fly. I have a Magnum 91 4-stroke in mine.
