Currently using an O.S. 160 twin on a Fokker DR1. I use only Byron 'Sport-blend' glow fuel - 15% nitro, 18% syn./castor blend. If you can afford the additional expense of a glow ignitor system, buy one. It may save your model at a critical time. Benefits include a smoother, consistent idle, reduced idle RPM's and no external glow driver to attach upon starting.
The ignitor system I prefer is from Electro-Dynamics which operate off a 4.8v battery pack;own and operate three for many years without incident.
