Default Flaperon or Elevon???

Flaperon can be used in different ways. Flaperons can be set to a switch to both move to a predetermined point as flaps or spoilers.
They also can be mixed as elevator to flaperon(flap) mixing or elevator to soileron mixing.
Flaperons as Flaps= slow flight with marginal aileron control if more than 50%

Flaperons as spoilers= Hight decent rates, higher angle of attack flight, and faster stall speeds.

Elevator to flap mixing= Tighter loops with additional pitch control.

Elevator to spoileron= Awesome 3D flight with longer tailed airplanes. Water falls, harriers, elevators, walls, and more:-)

I'm sure others could think of more things they can help with.
I Love computer radios!! The combinations possible setups are way out there hundreds of thousands.

Oh ya Elevons are mostly for tailless aircraft. They serve as Pitch and Roll control. The mixing is really the same as Elevator to spoiler mixing accept there mixed 100% as Elevons

How about Drag Rudders or Ruddervators(Vtail). LOL I love this stuff:-)

Hope this helps. Take care and Happy flying.
