RE: ASP .75 2 Stroke engine?
Ok TR. I purchased my ASP .75 in 1998 to install in my Flying King model. Ran the engine on my stand before storing it away till the King was built. My engine box had a slip of white paper that stated, " For engine longevity, add three ounces of Baker castor oil to your gallon of fuel". I added the suggested oil to my Sig 10% all castor fuel for my test stand run in with a 12x5 prop. The engine seemed to enjoy the fuel mix, but did produce a good stream of smoke. Had no problem hand starting the engine from the first start up. Having just installed the engine in the King model, other chores have kept me from test flying the plane. I believe the engine will work well for you in your plane, but keep in mind that it is not a high rev race engine.
Let us know how your test flight goes.
