should have plenty of power since it recemends 25-40 motors. i have 4 packs of the 2 cell 3200 lipo and 4 packs of the 3000 nimh's. a guy at my club has one of them, but i've never seen him fly it, should be able to check it out good to see about battery placement, if their is enough room for them or not.
An electrified Twinstar would be cool project and should make for a fairly easy conversion. The wing nacelles were designed for 4 ounce fuel tanks and should have plenty of room for batteries and speed controllers.
It's also a terrific flying sport plane by most accounts. I haven't seen one at the field for a few years now, but it's a solid trackingdesign that is aerobatic and fun to fly at high speeds if I remember.
