Default RE: EVOLUTION 26GX ENGINE QUESTIONS

Hi all.
The prop I have on the MVVS is APC 18/6 W. I have tried both Mejzlik and Biela but I have got the best overall performance with the APC.
We do not change propeller between IMAC sequence flying and Freestyle so the plane is a little slower but it has the best static thrust for Freestyle.
But the APC was very bad manufactured very out of balanced and the center was not flat. When I have fix that and put a big washer behind because it doesn't fit properly
from the beginning due to the design of the propellerhub, its perfect. OK its a bit heavy and a lighter propeller should have a faster spin up and be a little nicer to the engine.

Hi Pe.
I was a little worried about the header because its made of KS parts and very thin SS, but I have not had any problems
after two seasons hard flying. The pipe is only supported at the rear, and the rubber in the engine mount is very hard so the engine cant move.
Why I chose KS parts was because the have 22mm 90 degrees bends with only 36mm radie and I haven't seen that anywhere else.
The back mount is Sullivan, I could have used it as it was from the beginning but I got one from a friend who had drilled at the wrong places
and I wanted only the back part with the rubber, so I made it this way because I have used back mount on all my glow engines in the past and it worked.
I can only say that this setup has performed perfect and everybody at all contest and displays we have been at has been very impressed and surprised when
they are told that its a 26cc gas engine in that plane.
