Ya, more than likely its too rich for the low end. find and turn the low end in about 1/4 turn. Is the engine broke in????

Start the engine and set the high end, should be around 10,000 rpm on a broke in engine. Let it idle down and just let it idle and listen to it. If it idles for some time and will come up to speed, your alright.

If it just slows down and stops its rich, it it wants to speed up and then dies its too lean.
