RE: building my FIRST plane and need help
your link sent me to 4 channel electric warbird. this would not be a a recommened starter plane.. also i'm assuming the slow v is one those store bought 2 channel electrics with a lot of wing. i have many times seen beginners try and fly these without help. a few succeded but most ended in failure. even if you learn to fly one those then going to a more powerful 4 channel plane it will be like starting over again. do what "kelly" suggested. go to a local hobby shop and rc club for advice. in this hobby "what goes up, will come down" and you do not want that with your first plane. get help and advice. i tell you this because i have seen so many people get into this hobby the wrong way and it ended in sad disappointment.
i just realized the slow v is a gws plane. i've seen these fly and you could learn to fly on it but you would still need a radio, battery pack, a charger and a decent speed controller which could run into some money
