Default RE: How are those phoenix models????????

ORIGINAL: Rajib

Hi

I am from Kolkata, India and I would like to buy one Phoenix Funstar very soon, it is available India. But I would like to know if I use 46AX or 55AX with this model how to fit the engine into cowl? Also I would like to know what size of 4S Engine I can use on this model, but only OS Engines please.

What about this 56FS-a 4-Stroke Engine? http://www.osengines.com/engines/osmg0956.html
Is this engine enough for 3D flying and hover? What size of prop I should use for best 3D/Hovering performance? Please help me if you can.

Regards,
Rajib

I've assembled 3 Phoenix models and seen a number of others. None were 3D models. But all were heavier than advertised. And 3D models benefit from extra power because they often need it. My opinion is that a .56 four stroke would not be enough. I would suggest for a 4stroke, most models advertised for .46s would need at least a .70 four stroke.
