I could actually get the Jammin for less than the RC8T.. But seeing so many RC8T's run up close, I just fell for them.. Have never seen an X2 run, but they're supposedly good too. From what I can gather, the Jammin is prob a bit burlier and tougher. The carbon shock towers on the RC8T seem a bit flimsy to me.. But then, I don't ever run on any huge monster tracks with massive jumps, etc..
the X2 is very light as well...both machines are likely extremely similar...I have been running a X2 and i think its awesome....extremely fast rolling chassis with awesome steering..... you cannot go wrong with either
