JASON your quck way out is go the the local HS get a 4/40 threaded rod bend it in a U around the cylinder and use a couple of nuts and washers to secure it, you have made minnie version of a muffler clamp ala full size auto type you may need to make a metal plate with 2 holes to go over the muffler I have done this on several engines works well martin
