Setting up a drifter is personal preference..
I for one cannot stand a front one way... I like having full time traction.. makes it a little easier for me when doing transitional drifts on a tight course..

Its also Chassis dependant..
For my TT-01, Locked Rear Diff and Stock front End
HPI Sprint 2 : Stock Diffs front and rear

For my TT-01, I just Crammed Blu-tac (poster putty) into the rear diff till it was full, then re-assembled the diff..
Good thing with Blu-tac is, its more like an LSD then a fully locked diff.. So if you have a high speed accident into a wall, Drive energy can still be transfered through the Diff instead of the gears stripping..
