That's odd, he is now within 2 of HC on the poll in this forum. HC originally lead by a significant margin a few weeks ago.

Both forums are made up of people with an above average interest in AMA doings (which of course isn't setting the bar very high) and probably has little to do with what is happening with the actual voting. I believe that most people who read these forums on a routine basis, and have some familiarity with at least one of the candidates had their minds made up as soon as the nominations were made public.
My guess is that what has been said regarding in either forum regarding the election will have little impact on the overall vote. Speculation here, but the one exception to this may be those that happened to drop into the forum for the first time over the past 6 weeks or so and made up their minds based on the way one of the candidates typically deals with those who ask questions that challenge his positions. First impressions tend to last.
