OK. I will bold the pertinent direct questions for you to reply to.

Leverage? At what point do you put a limit?
Within the legal restraints of the operation.
What happened to honor, fair play and trustworthiness? Did your father not advise you of the old story: "All is fair in love and war."
As far as "honor, fair play and trustworthiness," those are nebulous terms. I don't steal so IMO I am trustworthy. I play fair as I don't cheat anyone out of anything. OTOH I may bend some rules, like maybe doing 70 mph in a 65 zone so the judge may figure that I didn't play by the rules. BTDT! Honor? too much to describe: An example is that when I hire someone to do a job, I don't quibble his labor charges. I received fair compensation for my services and I don't expect less for anyone I hire. OTOH, I expect the performance to be as contracted for.

With all that said, in todays world I suggest you ask your congressman or big business friends about those intangible items. They hid all that stuff long ago. Today it's scald or get scalded. [>:]

What does that mean? You leveraged the EC with exposure of their dirty laundry?
At the time I was not aware of them having dirty laundry and as I recall, IMO, they did not want to chance accumulating any by vetoing that operation.

Maybe your diatribe on LBJ was just out of context and you weren't comparing it to your actions in getting the EC to go along with your will.
The LBJ story was merely an example of how political leverage works. I use it because it is one that most people can comprehend and many can still well remember those days when the entire populace got scalded.
BTW for the those with a lesser perception, I use the word scald ___ burn by hot liquid ___ because I think the powers that be like to boil us peons in oil every chance they get.

Thank you for your answers. I was kind of hoping your post didn't mean what it appeared to mean.

Now if I could just get that image of you line CW dancing out of my head......................[X(]
