The 4* is actaully easy to cover. There's no concave curves.

To cover over the stinger or the read deck. I simply wrap newspaper over to make a stencil.
This way I'll get a piece that's pretty close. Plus the seam lines are nice and straight.
I don't need to do a lot of shirnking.

Cover from back to front of course. Bottom to top.
For the side of the fuselage. I'll cover a little piece from the rear to the LE of the rear stab.
This way it'll hide the seam.

You have to plan your covering...2 rolls is barely enough..You can't goof too often.

I cut on glass
I also snagged my gf's shear...it's easier to trim the long hang over pieces.. You don't snip...you just run the shear against the edge.
