Default RE: Old OS muffler

ORIGINAL: rainedave

I found one last year at a swap meet. The seller was busy on his cell phone and I held up the muffler and a five dollar bill. He nodded yes, so I left with a bargain. The last one I saw on the auction site went for $52 and change!

I haven't given up, but I bought one of these old Dubro jobs which is better than nothing. It has a spring inside and you can adjust the tension to alter back pressure and noise level.

Love that old Muffler.
The GREAT UNIVERSAL MUFFLER. FITS EVER ENGINE IN THE WORLD... REGARDLESS OF SIZE!

(regardless of performance a well one thinks[sm=50_50.gif]?)

Also love the note: "Split plastic covering to remover muffler" on the package.

Obviously, Dubro must have thought that those taken in by the "Universal muffler" spin would be of such limited mental capasity, they deemed it necessary to include the instructions for opening the packet!

Not distracting from your purchase Dave... just laughing about the old days.
