My buddies who fly the carbon pipes tend to complain a lot about broken innards in the carbon pipes.
I used carbon pipes with the OS160 for a few years(gone electric now for no particular reason other than an economic death wish).
The innards in the ES pipes were very reliable.
Agreed. It isn't the ES they complain about

Correct. On the other hand, I'm told that the known problem they had 2-3 years ago has been corrected, so the later pipes don't fall apart after a couple of hundred flights anymore. Too late for mine. My warranty on both expired and known defect or not, no offer to work with me on it. Oh well.
