If you can afford it go with the MRC 977. it comes with a AC/DC converter so you can use it in the field from your car battery or at home from the wall socket. I love mine. Very easy too use.
Yes this is a good charger i have one also....the 969 also works inside on AC and also on a car battery so if you are looking to save $$$ 969 is perfect.
