Ferrari spends 300 million dollars a year on their TWO race cars, that enough to buy every race team in NASCAR and NASCAR itself, they use TI for their headers. It works for me.[sm=thumbup.gif]
Incredible hi tech stuff for such boring races! I will never understood how F-1 continues to exist. But back on subject, several years ago there were a few RC heli mufflers made of titanium. Main advantage was strength and lack of breakage. Stainless was just about as good though and much cheaper. Once again though, aluminum has returned as the material of choice.
